Program description: Currently, CAII supports orphanges in Da Nang and Quang Nam. Referral time is estimated to be 5 to 6 months after acceptance of Homestudy in Vietnam. Our Vietnam in-country associate will assist families with their in-country process, including trips to the orphanage and U.S. Embassy procedures in Hanoi. Our program fee includes the expedited passport application fee for the adoptive child which will shorten the in-country stay by more than a week. CAII offers Adoptive Parent Education classes and Post Placement advisory services.
Humanitarian Work in Vietnam: CAII has supported orphanages in HCMC and Da Nang since 1997. In addition to supporting orphanages in Da Nang & Quang Nam, CAII also works on humanitarian projects with the Department of Labor Invalids and Social Affairs in Quang Nam & the Da Nang City Society for the Support of the Handicapped and Orphans.
Requirements: Married couples and single women 25 to 50 years
of age are eligible. Those over 50 will be matched with an older child.
Estimated Cost: Foreign fee is $11,500, in addition to Agency fee, Dossier Fee, travel and miscellaneous expenses.
